  • 3 oz Prosecco
  • 2 oz Campari
  • 1 oz sparkling water

Build over ice in a spritz glass. Garnish with an orange slice.

Batch tip: Combine all ingredients in the keg and seal. Connect CO₂ and set the regulator to 5 psi. Purge oxygen by lifting the pressure release ring for 2 to 3 seconds, then repeat twice more. Raise to 15 psi while chilling overnight to maintain carbonation. Drop to 5 psi before serving.


Recipe 2: Cowgirl Cosmo Spritz (White)

The Cowgirl Cosmo Spritz is the most approachable drink of the three. White cranberry juice keeps the color light and the flavor balanced between citrus, a touch of sweet, and a clean orange finish from the Cointreau. This one ran out first at a fundraiser for Cooke County CASA, an organization that trains volunteer child advocates for vulnerable kids in the community. That's a pretty good endorsement.

The dash of saline in this recipe is a pro bartender technique that amplifies sweetness and rounds out acidity. America's Test Kitchen tested it and found that even a single drop of 20% saline solution made a perceptible difference in cocktail balance. You won't taste salt. You'll just taste a better cocktail.

Single Serve

  • 1 oz vodka
  • 3/4 oz white cranberry juice
  • 3/4 oz Cointreau
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice

  • 1 x 1.75L handle + 1 x 750ml bottle vodka
  • White cranberry juice: ~63 fl. oz. (approximately 2 quarts)

  • Fresh lime juice: ~42 fl. oz. (about 28 to 32 limes)
  • Simple syrup: ~21 fl. oz.
  • 1 tsp saline solution

Recipe 3: Gulf of America (Blue)

This is a stirred margarita variation. Build it in a mixing glass, stir over ice, and pour onto crushed ice for a semi-frozen effect. Agave syrup ties the sweetness to the tequila and keeps the flavor in the right family.

Single Serve

  • 1.5 oz tequila blanco
  • 1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 oz blue curaçao (Drillaud recommended)
  • 1/4 oz agave syrup
  • 1 dash saline solution

Stir over ice in a mixing glass, then strain into a glass over crushed ice. Garnish with a lime wedge or a flag pick.

Batch tip: Stir the full batch well before sealing. Because this recipe has no sparkling components, it stores cleanly under negligible CO₂ pressure with no risk of over-carbonation. Chill overnight and increase the pressure anywhere between 1 psi to 5 psi before tapping.
