White Sangria by the Keg

White Sangria goes down exceedingly well in the summertime, with its fresh flavors and light but lively bubbles.

We've done the math (and the taste-testing) so that the ratios turn out pretty darn good when making large volumes, though feel free to tweak it to suit your taste!

Ingredients:

White Sangria

Small (~3.5L) Yields ~118 fl. oz. (20 x 6 fl. oz. sangria + ice and garnish)

  • 3 x 750ml bottle of white wine
  • 1 cup of triple sec
  • 1 L of Italian sparkling lemonade (approx. 3 cans of Sanpellegrino or 5 x 200ml bottles of Fever Tree)

Medium (~5L) ~168 fl. oz. (28 x 6 fl. oz. sangria + ice and garnish)

  • 4 x 750ml bottle of white wine
  • 1/2 x 750ml bottle of triple sec
  • 1.6 L of Italian sparkling lemonade (approx. 5 cans of Sanpellegrino or 8 x 200ml bottles of Fever Tree)

Medium-Large (~7L) ~236 fl. oz. (40 x 6 fl. oz. sangria + ice and garnish)

  • 6 x 750ml bottle of white wine
  • 2 cups of triple sec
  • 2 L of Italian sparkling lemonade (approx. 6 cans of Sanpellegrino or 10 x 200ml bottles of Fever Tree)

Large (9.75L) ~330 fl. oz. (55 x 6 fl. oz. sangria + ice and garnish)

  • 8 x 750ml bottle of white wine
  • 1 x 750ml bottle of triple sec
  • 3L of Italian sparkling lemonade (approx. 9 cans of Sanpellegrino or 15 x 200ml bottles of Fever Tree)

To make:

  • Pour the quantities in your clean keg. Stir gently with a clean spoon to mix well.
  • Place the lid on your keg, connect your CO₂ setting your regulator at 5 psi.
  • Purge out the oxygen in your keg by lifting the release ring for 2-3 seconds (letting the CO₂ push out the air). Repeat 2 more times.

Consuming right away? Connect your tap and serve into a glass with ice and fruit garnish of your choice.
Preparing in advance? Disconnect your CO₂ and store in a fridge or in your Keg Bag with ice until ready.

  • Want it more 'bubbly'? Increase the pressure to 15 psi while storing to add a little more carbonation to your Sangria, leaving it connected while it's being chilled. Always drop the pressure to 5 psi or lower while serving, otherwise it could shoot out with a vengeance!

Keep it fresh with some Sangria this summer. Cheers!
