Bespoke Mix for Mulled Drinks
Last winter, while preparing for a local Christmas market, Felicity and I wanted to recreate the mulled wine we'd fallen in love with at European Christmas markets during our years in London—rich, warming, and made with real ingredients.
Most commercial mulling spice packets are loaded with powders that turn gritty, plus preservatives and anti-caking agents. We wanted better.
Our mix uses whole spices only: cinnamon sticks, dehydrated orange slices, cardamom pods, star anise, and cloves. And instead of regular sugar, we use maple sugar for sweetness with extra depth of flavor.
That's it. No junk, no fillers. Just honest ingredients you can feel good serving to friends and family.

Easy Mulled Wine Recipe
Combine one packet Mulling Mix with one 750ml bottle of dry red wine in a small saucepan. Bring to a low simmer, partially covered, for up to 30 minutes.
Do Not Boil.
Add 1 cup brandy (if desired) just before serving
*Make a kid-friendly version using apple and cranberry juices instead of wine and brandy
