Push-fit fittings are extremely reliable when they're not bumped or jostled.

However one time, when adjusting a gas line, we inadvertently pushed in the line (and the collar on the fitting) which caused a micro leak, costing us a fair amount of CO₂ before we caught the issue. 

The tiny but mighty component you didn’t know you needed.

These circlips, when clipped into place, prevent the collars from being pushed inwards, making it impossible for the fitting to release its grip on any hose!

These are suitable for any 5/16" OD push-fit fitting and could very well be the difference between a free-flowing afternoon and a fizzle.
