Ingredients:
- Tequila (we used Cazadores reposado)
- Mango Nectar
- Lime juice (fresh squeezed, or do as we did and use Volcano Lime Burst Juice)
- Agave Nectar
- Salt
- Flaky Salt or Tajín, for garnish
Ultimate Mango Margarita
Small Batch (2.125L) ~72 fl. oz. (~18 x 4 fl. oz. Mango Margs)
- 1 x 1 L bottle of Tequila
- 500ml Mango Nectar
- 375ml Lime Juice
- 250ml Agave Nectar
- 1 tsp salt
Medium Batch (3.7L) ~126 fl. oz. (~31 x 4 fl. oz. Mango Margs)
- 1 x 1.75 L bottle of Tequila
- 875ml Mango Nectar
- 656ml Lime Juice
- 437ml Agave Nectar
- 1 3/4 tsp salt
Medium Large Batch (7.4L) ~250 fl. oz. (~62 x 4 fl. oz. Mango Margs)
- 2 x 1.75 L bottle of Tequila
- 1.75 L Mango Nectar
- 1.3 L Lime Juice
- 875ml Agave Nectar
- 3 1/2 tsp salt
Large Batch (9L) ~304 fl. oz. (76 x 4 fl. oz. Mango Margs)
- 2 x 1.75 L + 1 x 750ml bottle of Tequila
- 2.125 L Mango Nectar
- 1.6 L Lime Juice
- 1 L Agave Nectar
- 4 1/4 tsp salt
To make:
- Pour the quantities into your clean keg. Stir gently with a clean spoon to mix well.
- Place the lid on your keg, connect your CO₂ setting your regulator at 5 psi.
- Purge out the oxygen in your keg by lifting the release ring for 2-3 seconds (letting the CO₂ push out the air). Repeat 2 more times.
Consuming right away? Connect your tap and serve into a salt or Tajín rimmed glass with ice and a lime slice for garnish.
- Rimming a glass: Sprinkle flaky salt or Tajín onto a plate. Rub lime around the rim of your glass, wetting it so that the salt will stick. Gently dip the rim into the salt / Tajín, wobbling it so that a light layer sticks to the rim.
Preparing in advance? Release (almost) all the pressure out of the keg using the release ring after disconnecting from your CO₂. This prevents your margarita from becoming carbonated.
