Naughty or Nice Christmas Punch: A Festive Blend of Wine, Cognac, and Cheer! 🍷🎄✨

This holiday season, skip the cloying sugar-laden punches and embrace a bold, boozy tradition with the Naughty or Nice cocktail!

Inspired by the work of cocktail legends like David Wondrich and Jamie Boudreau, this festive punch combines the richness of cognac, the bright cherry sweetness of Luxardo maraschino liqueur, and the spicy kick of ginger beer.

The real magic? Equal parts chardonnay and pinot noir—bringing together white and red wine for a perfectly balanced, festive mix.

Expect lush, velvety notes from the cognac, tart cherry brightness from the liqueur, and a sparkling ginger zing that cuts through the richness of the wines.

The chardonnay adds a crisp, fruity base, while the pinot noir deepens the flavor with subtle earthy and berry undertones.

It's a cocktail that's as elegant as it is comforting—perfect for holiday parties or cozy nights by the fire.

  • 3 x 750ml bottles of Pinot Noir
  • 2 x 750ml bottles of Maraschino Liqueur
  • 2 x 750ml bottles of Cognac
  • 3L of Ginger Beer

To make:

  • Pour the quantities into your clean keg. Stir gently with a clean spoon to mix well.
  • Place the lid on your keg, connect your CO₂ setting your regulator at 5 psi.
  • Purge out the oxygen in your keg by lifting the release ring for 2-3 seconds (letting the CO₂ push out the air). Repeat 2 more times.
Consuming right away? Connect your tap and serve into a glass with ice and garnish with a cherry.
Preparing in advance? Increase the pressure to 15 psi while storing to ensure the carbonation stays in your spritz, leaving it connected while it's being chilled. Always drop the pressure to 5 psi or lower while serving, otherwise it could shoot out with a vengeance!
